In a small town, a strong and capable woman seems able to do it all. She grows food, looks after the animals, feeds the children, cleans the house — and still finds time to help everyone around her.

Until one day, exhausted by everything she has to do, she wishes she could multiply herself.

And she does.

One woman becomes two, then three, then an entire army of identical women, each one smaller than the last. What begins as an ingenious solution becomes a clever and thought-provoking exploration of care, work, community and the invisible load so often carried by women.
