About Booklings Club
1. What is Booklings Club?
Booklings Club is a multilingual children's book club created for families raising bilingual children or bringing another language into everyday family life.
Choose your language and your child's age group, and we'll select beautiful books for them to discover — making it easier to build a bookshelf in the languages that matter to your family.
2. Who is Booklings for?
Booklings is for families who want to nurture a love of reading while keeping another language part of everyday life.
Whether it's a language spoken at home, a connection to family and culture, or simply a language you'd love your child to grow up with, Booklings makes finding beautiful children's books in other languages easier.
3. What languages do you offer?
We currently offer children's books in Spanish, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese, with more languages planned for the future.
Our available languages and collections may grow over time, so explore our current collections to see what's available now.
Subscriptions & Booklings Boxes
4. How does the Booklings Club subscription work?
Choose your language and your child's age group, and we'll do the book hunting for you.
Each month, your child receives a Booklings box with two hand-picked children's books, selected for their age group and reading profile.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You can manage your subscription through your Booklings account, including pausing, skipping or cancelling before your next renewal.
5. What's inside a Booklings box?
Each box includes two high-quality children's books selected for your child's language and age group, plus a Booklings reading card or activity.
We look for books that are engaging, beautifully illustrated and worth coming back to — from publishers and creators around the world.
6. Can I buy a Booklings box without subscribing?
Yes. If you're not ready to join the Club, you can purchase a one-off Booklings box where available.
You can also shop individual children's books directly from our online store.
7. How do I pause, skip or cancel my subscription?
You can manage your subscription through your Booklings customer account using the email address you used when you subscribed.
From there, you can manage your upcoming subscription, including pausing, skipping or cancelling before your next renewal.

Shipping, Delivery & Billing
8. Where do you ship?
We currently ship across Australia and New Zealand.
Booklings Club subscriptions include free standard shipping Australia-wide. New Zealand delivery is available for an additional charge shown at checkout.
9. When will my first box be sent?
We generally aim to dispatch physical orders within 1–2 business days.
Once your box is on its way, you'll receive an email with Australia Post tracking so you can follow its journey.
10. How does the monthly subscription cycle work?
Your first payment is processed when you join Booklings Club. After that, your subscription renews automatically according to your subscription cycle.
You can view and manage your upcoming subscription details through your Booklings customer account.
11. When will I be charged?
You're charged for your first box when you subscribe. After that, your subscription renews automatically according to your subscription cycle.
You can view your subscription and upcoming renewal details through your Booklings customer account.
12. How long does delivery take?
Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive Australia Post tracking so you can follow its journey.
Delivery times vary depending on your location, the postage service selected and Australia Post's network. Regional and remote areas, public holidays and peak periods may take a little longer.
13. How much is shipping?
Booklings Club subscriptions include free standard shipping Australia-wide.
Express Post is available within Australia for an additional charge shown at checkout.
For other purchases, the applicable shipping arrangement or charge is shown on the relevant product page and/or at checkout.
We also ship to New Zealand for an additional charge shown at checkout.
14. How do I update my payment details or address?
You can manage your payment details, billing information and subscription details through your Booklings customer account.
Log in using the email address you used when you subscribed and select Manage Subscription.

Our Books
15. How do you choose the books?
We work with publishers from around the world to find children's books that are age-appropriate, engaging and beautifully illustrated.
We look beyond the obvious titles to bring families stories worth discovering — books we believe children will enjoy reading, sharing and returning to.
16. Will I receive the same book twice?
We keep a record of the books sent through your Booklings subscription to help avoid sending your child the same title twice.
Keeping your child's Reading Profile up to date also helps us make the best possible selections for them.
17. Are the books translations or originally written in the language?
Both.
Our collections include books originally written in their language as well as carefully produced translations of children's books from around the world.
What matters to us is finding beautiful, engaging books that deserve a place on your child's bookshelf.
18. Can I choose the exact books in my subscription box?
The surprise is part of Booklings, so you don't choose the exact titles in your monthly box.
Instead, we use your child's age group and Reading Profile to guide our selections.
If there's something important we should know about your child's reading — including books they already own — you can let us know through their Reading Profile.
19. What age groups do you offer?
Our Booklings Club subscriptions are available in two age groups:

First Stories — ages 0–3: board books, early concepts and stories created for little hands and growing minds.

Growing Readers — ages 4+: picture books and stories for children ready for richer language, ideas and storytelling.

20. What can we do with the books once our child outgrows them?
Your Booklings books are yours to keep.
Add them to your family bookshelf, pass them down to a younger sibling, gift them to another little reader, or share them with another family who'll love them too.
21. Do you work with educators or accept larger orders?
Yes. We love helping educators, schools, early learning centres and other organisations access children's books in different languages.
