About Us

We’re two mums (Eli and Steph) who once spent our days in boardrooms — chasing deadlines, not dreams.

After becoming parents, we realised what really matters: time with our families, shared moments, and passing on the stories that shaped us.

Coming from different corners of the world and raising our kids here in Australia, we faced the same challenge — how to keep our children connected to our heritage languages when quality books were so hard to find.

That’s how Booklings was born.

 

 

 

Our mission

...to make it easy for families to celebrate language, culture, and curiosity through beautiful stories from around the world!

Each month, we curate a box of age-appropriate children’s books in your chosen language — starting with Spanish, Traditional and Simplified Chinese (soon to be more!). Every title is handpicked for its storytelling, artwork, and ability to spark imagination.

But this is more than a box of books.

It’s a passport to new worlds.

A bedtime story whispered in another language.
